My Short on screen! is a contest open to people of all ages, living anywhere in the world, who are of any origin. We are looking for short films with social themes to be screened at the September 2010 Montreal International Black Film Festival.
Register your short films with the Montreal International Black Film Festival before June 20, 2010.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATING
Must deal with the following theme:
Immigration (Here and Abroad)
Running time: 3 to 15 minutes, maximum (including credits)
Short film selection criteria:

Main criteria: content, relevance and originality of the short film. |

Each story must be a unique and original work, and must not have been copied from an existing work (book, film, other screenplay). Must not be somebody else’s screenplay (equals theft, is unethical); if so, the film will automatically be rejected. |

No nude scenes. |

Language of film: in French and/or Creole (with English or French subtitles) and/or in English (with French subtitles). |

No films will be accepted after the June 20, 2010 deadline. |

Sending us your DVD copy in no way guarantees that your film will be selected. Selected entries will be listed on this website in mid-August. |

Viewing copies will not be returned, so please do not send your original. |

HOW TO REGISTER
Please send us a DVD copy of your short film, along with a letter of presentation containing the following information: a synopsis of the film, the names of the author (screenwriter), director, producer or production company (if applicable), editor and 2 or 3 main actors, the running time of your film, the type of equipment used (video, high definition or other), as well as your contact information.
